Chris was born in London in 1947, but was brought up and educated in South Africa, which inspired his love of wildlife.

He attended Johannesburg School of Art before starting a career in advertising, but now works freelance from his studio in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

He is a member of The Wildlife Art Society, The Coventry and Warwickshire Society of Artists and Past Chairman of the Coventry Watercolour Society.

Chris has won Gold Medals for his work in the Annual Exhibitions of The Wildlife Art Society in 2000, 2001 and 2006.

Chris exhibits regularly, teaches and demonstrates to Art Societies throughout the country. He has work in collections in Britain, Spain, Germany, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
